Brasserie Fantôme Magic Ghost (Review)

I acquired this extremely unique beer from Michael Jackson’s Rare Beer Club. After trying it, I sincerely wish I had purchased more bottles! I suppose I should not have been surprised at the innovation and quality associated with a Fantome product, yet I still was. The Magic Ghost was truly amazing. This beer poured a bright green. I mean green, reminiscent of Hi-C Ecto Cooler. It held a finger of a small white head. I thought I detected a significant granny smith quality on the nose as well as some yeast and citrus. In other words, a very inviting aroma. The Magic Ghost tasted of tart fruits with some yeastiness as well as a little herbalness. In other words it was extremely unique and delicious. Plus it was brewed with green tea, so its healthy right?! I highly recommend this beer if you can find it. It will be delicious anytime, but due to its spectacular color it will certainly blow away any other “green” beer on St. Patrick’s Day!
